Its a game of skill, however being lucky helps.
The skill is in defining and understanding your horses preferences and placing horses in the correct races.
There is skill in spotting good horses in claimers and at auction.
There is skill is in working out the finer details.
There is skill in breeding, pairing the correct Sire and Mare to maximise breeding a good offspring.
The luck helps when buying from the Sales Ring
Yes it is. You need to deposit money into your stable account and race winnings can be withdrawn.
The pages here can be a help. There is info on the site itself or ask other stables through the forums, or the discord channel.
Raceviewers display animations of a race. No, there is no raceviewer at the time of writing. However,
the admininstartor has indicated that a raceviewr may come in the future.
Current Season is S02 and S03 begins in Febuary 2026.
Ideally, leave 5 days between runs, as the horse will incur a "Quick Run" penalty, unless of course the horse is very good and is able to overcome this penalty
If you're horse has a Conformation of Supreme it can race without penalty after 3 days.
A season lasts 3 months, Feb to Apr May to July Aug to Oct Nov to Jan.
Horses can be purchased from the sales ring, claimers, auction or breeding.
A horse is born with a heart %. In my experince this can range between 20% and 100%.
According to the site .... This is a measure of how hard a horse will try in a race and has no impact on breeding potential.
Horse are born with 4 different traits. Confimation, Athleticism, Height and Balance.
Go to the traits page to see more detailed information.
All horses will live untill at least 9 years of age. After this the horse can expire and the odds of expiring increases as the horse ages.
However, the horses ability declines each year after it reaches 7.
Experience % will increase in line with the more racing a horse does. The higher the grade of race will enhnce this growth.
A horse can retire at any age.
However a horse must be at leat 4 years old before it can breed.
There are 5 grades of horse. S - A - B - C - D.
"S" being the best then "A" and so on. "S" grade horses can only be got from the sales ring. (A - B - C - D from breeding)
My guess is there will be some overlap between grades. E.G. A good "C" may be better than a poor "B".
Again, I encourage you to try and form your own opinion.
